Lindsay + Libby | #KEEPER
Knowing she's The One
This love story started with a hashtag...
While our romance has continued to grow, one thing has been a constant: our photos have always contained the #KEEPER in the caption on social media. I knew that she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. When planning to pop the question to throw her off the scent of the proposal, I wanted to add to our ever growing collection of necklaces with a new Beth Macri necklace. #KEEPER will forever be...
...part of our story and worn with us forever.
A Tale of two Beth Macri necklaces:
Let’s set the stage - 2 lesbians looking to expand their circles within the LGBTQ+ community sign up for an app specifically designed for that purpose. What neither of us expected was that we’d find love. After several swipes and failed attempts to connect with others, our ‘profiles’ lite up each other’s phones. After a month of text messages and some rescheduled attempts at first dates we finally made our schedules work. That’s when the magic began.
It was a hot Wednesday night in May, she was wearing cropped pants, a tank and a white denim vest, among her necklaces was one with her name in Beth Macri letters. I remember this so distinctly because I immediately became enamored with it.
One thing that we established on our first date was we wanted to get to know each other in real life instead of using social media. While the two of us were connecting in real life, one of us was creating a presence on Instagram. Weeks of posts about flowers, dinners, gestures; images of the early stages of our dating were being posted via her account with the hashtag #Mightbeakeeper. But one thing was missing - none of the photos included my face.
A few weeks later, at NYC Pride 2017, she got the nerve to ask me an important question: “would I be willing to accept a name change? Could #Mightbeakeeper be upgraded to #KEEPER?” Without a moment's hesitation, I accepted my new title with pride and love. My notoriety was established soon after when I’d met someone within her circle who stated, ‘So this is #Mightbeakeeper, I’ve been following the hashtag online, I’m such a fan’.
Shortly after that she surprised me with my first Beth Macri Mathematics necklace ‘L❤ L’ which was intended to be my 6 month anniversary present. I was smitten to say the least.
While our romance has continued to grow, one thing has always been a constant: our photos have always contained the #KEEPER on social media. I knew that she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. When planning to pop the question while I recovered from surgery, I decided that, as a thank you for taking such great care of me, and to throw her off the scent of the proposal, I would add to our ever growing collection of necklaces with a new Beth Macri. #KEEPER will forever be part of our story and worn with us forever.
On a perfect Sunday afternoon surrounded by our friends and family I asked her to be my #foreverkeeper in the middle of Central Park - she of course said yes!
Thinking we need to add another necklace to the collection!

A simple symbol of love
The ‘S’ is my bf’s first initial. A reminder that I can wear to symbolize that he loves me. I love that it’s so subtle! Thank you for an amazing design!
Douglas | LOSTDOG
Finding love again
The Hidden Message necklace is perfect for us. We are embarked on an adventure that is destined to last a very very long time ... and LOSTDOG was the start of an unexpected ... actually "Hallmark" ... story and so will always be a part of our journey.
You are more than deserving of a Five Stars rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and I have no hesitancy recommending you to anyone! ❤️...
We both had common ground and a unique understanding of loss.
She had decided to sign onto an online dating service and was in her last month of her subscription and did not intend to renew though she had met some nice people.
I signed up for the same online service, likewise feeling that being "2, 4 or 6" was better than being a "1, 3 or 5" in social gatherings.
As fate would have it, my picture and profile appeared on her computer screen and, for the first time, she initiated and swiped right (or is it left LOL ...I don't remember). We exchanged a couple of emails onsite then exchanged personal email addresses and then agreed to meet. I had told her I wasn't nearly ready to date anyone. She suggested an "un-date" for conversation, just casual, sweatshirts and jeans. We agreed to meet.
We closed the place down just talking about mutual life pathways and how relaxed it would be to have a Plus One with no expectations and how there could be no replacing Part One of our lives, yet the next chapter could be wonderful in its own unique way. And so we talked. And talked and talked and talked and within a few weeks became the other's Plus One for events and movies and dinners. The restaurant was called The Lost Dog and they give part of their profits to dog rescue organizations.
So I thought of your necklace saying "UNDATE" but that wasn't quite right. And I had already given her a bracelet a year ago with the restaurant's longitude and latitude so she could always find her way home. I guess it just felt right to have your Hidden Message necklace say LOSTDOG where it all, very surprisingly, shockingly even, started. We are both in our mid to late 60's and feel that we have both followed separate and wonderful paths that inexorably have led us to "here." And so, just as movies are made with a single beginning and potential alternative endings, we have had alternative beginnings and possibly a common ending. The Lost Dog will always be a part of that journey.

A nickname for her Son
My son’s name is Arturo, but his nickname is Artwo.
My husband is also quite a Star Wars fan, so we have called our son R2 as in ‘R2D2’ since we found out he was a boy. As a graphic designer I really appreciate and admire your designs.
I just showed my husband the necklace and he said ‘esta poca madre’ - a Mexican slang for ‘it is more than incredible!’.

In Memory (police badge)
My uncle, a police officer, was killed in the line of duty. He was my role model and meant so much to me. This necklace is worn in memory of him.

A nautical love story
My guy is in the Navy and he got me an anchor necklace before he left on his first deployment, I loved it dearly, but I lost it at my yoga studio and didn't care to replace it immediately. I had (at the time) Beth Macri bookmarked because I saw Ingrid Nilsen's video from Youtube and the necklace that she got and I thought ‘what a great idea’. The rest is history and I always get compliments on my necklace and people don't even realize that there's a message, they are amazed when I show them!
Thank you for a great product and great service, I really appreciate you all!

She made him a better man
The K is for my last name that starts with a K. When we succeed at any endeavors or challenges that life and our relationship present to us, we knock it down and give shout-outs to our team - TEAMK.
Quick short story behind TEAMK...
My girlfriend and I have been dating for just over 2 years now. Before her, I was somewhat of a, for lack of better words, "womanizing douchebag" in my past relationships. She was the one that knocked me on my a** and extracted the good I had instilled within. Funny thing is, the women (Mom, sister and twin nieces) have always been special to me and I held with high regard.
However, for some reason I had troubles with staying faithful and just being an overall good person with setting boundaries in past relationships. In the beginning of our relationship I was presented with a fork in the road - getting kicked to the curb or rid myself of these poor habits and build our relationship. I chose the latter of the two and stayed honest to myself, of course with her assistance and patience (which, I forever will be grateful for), in extracting the good qualities I did possess with the woman I hold dear to my heart and applying it to our relationship. Setting boundaries and keeping my complete focus on her and our relationship. Giving it 100%.
TEAMK evolved from this. Meaning, her and I became strong teammates with a bond that could not be broken. The K is for my last name that starts with a K. When we succeed at any endeavors or challenges that life and our relationship present to us, we knock it down and give shout-outs to our team - TEAMK.
TEAMK has become such a household name within our relationship and is probably verbalized 20 plus times daily via in-person, text, email..well you get the point :-). We both have learned so much about each other and stayed patient to make it right because we seen the good and felt the true love. Now, we are at a point in our lives where nothing can stop us..

Good advice for her daughter
My daughter loved her necklace she got for Christmas! You asked the meaning of the numbers 634. We picked it for the bible verse Matthew 6:34. "Do not worry about tomorrow for today has enough worries of its own." She is 16 and has the whole world ahead of her, we want her to relax and enjoy each day.
